This past weekend was foggy, rainy, and chilly. That, of course, can lead to some of the best lighting conditions, so I was kind of (ok REALLY) geeking out over Emmily’s red dress with all of the tulips and the new green leaves.
Emmily & Michael came up to Bayfield right after their intimate wedding at their cabin near Minong, and Emmily braved the chilly wind and rain for these shots. I think this may be one of my new favorite wedding images. {ISO 320 f/3.5 1/400th – 70mm on 70-200 2.8L}

June 2, 2016 at 8:26 am (4 years ago)I LOVE that spot in Bayfield! We came across it once while walking around town looking for John & Schoep’s beach. I took so many photos there, such a unique place, I love all the old watercraft surrounded by flowers and greenery. We met John, too, it was a fun and memorable day. What a beautiful photo this is! Who would have thought red could be such a perfect color for a wedding dress?
