Empathy and the power of virtual communities.

Empathy can exist on social media – even though it has not felt that way recently with all of the weirdness going on in the world. 3 years ago my journey started – and I was eventually taken care of in the most incredible way.

I am so thankful to have had such amazing positive experiences with virtual communities in my life. Life is short – add nothing but kindness and love. I hope you enjoy my TEDx talk.

Well done, Hannah! It was wonderful to hear the back story of what happened while I was on the front of what happened. I cried so for each of you in your tragedies. Thank you for letting me in to experience your positives. I still enjoy following you and John on Facebook.

You are truly amazing. God bless you. Thank you for sharing your story. FB popped up with the “your memories” photo of your friend with his old shepherd. I just lost my heart dog in Jan suddenly so everything brings those memories back. Anyway, I explored further to learn of the passing of your husband. I am so sorry. Your message is helpful to me and I’m sure to many. Hugs…. (I won’t show up in your kitchen ).
