I shoot a lot of different types of subjects – but the overall theme is always natural and candid.
I need to be able to shoot quickly and capture the moments without a whole lot of set up. For that reason I use very fast Canon lenses.
My primary go – to’s are the 24-70 2.8L, the 70-200 2.8L IS, the 35mm 1.4, and the 50mm 1.2. (Check them out on BorrowLenses if you’d like to try before you buy!) I get a lot of emails about what types of lenses I use for what situation, so I have put together some Pinterest boards with inspiration.
Have a wonderful week and enjoy!

September 16, 2014 at 2:38 pm (8 years ago)On my 5D II, I love my 24-70 2.8L for shooting everywhere. My Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS when I am at an air show or race track and I cannot get real close. The big lens also works great for outdoor weddings. You can hide off to the side and see the tears.
