Fish Camp with WI Women Fish

This past weekend I was invited to speak at WI Women Fish‘s Annual Fish Camp about the past few years, some of my favorite sessions, and a few photo tips.  I enjoyed it so much – it was an amazing group of women who share a love of the outdoors and being out on the water.  There were fishing demonstrations, bonfires, lots of dogs, and wine.  I love all of those things :).

I will hopefully be fishing with them sooner rather than later – I wasn’t able to this weekend – but I did get some great photos of the camp!  The fall colors were just starting to turn, and the combination of the the colorful boats and the turning leaves was gorgeous.

The Boston Terriers were the ambassadors who greeted everyone, and they also checked out what the women were catching.  They spent a lot of time running and playing and chasing each other.  Stella worked the docks to make sure everyone was behaving ;).

Hope you enjoy this peek at fish camp.  If you are a women who loves the outdoors I highly recommend joining.  All levels are welcome!

It was an absolute delight to meet you and learn so much more background about your life and pictures. I grew up with a home made darkroom in the basement that my brother built. He is no longer with us, but I am now inspired to get back into photography. Oddly enough he and I used to fish together too. Your print of the curious horses is now framed and above my fireplace. Thanks for spending the weekend with us. Oh my boat made a photo.
