I am of the opinion that candid moments are the best for wedding photography. Those un-posed moments are when people are at their most graceful and when the true stories come out. There is no awkwardness to these types of photos, which is why I try to concentrate on those while shooting!
I came across this photo of Kalli this week while finishing up her & Nick’s wedding. Its was taken in her family’s kitchen moments before we all left for the ceremony. This photo is EXACTLY why I just shoot and don’t direct.
In the next few weeks and over the next year you are going to see much more about the brides & grooms and the families that I have photographed. I’m also going to talk about how and why I do the things I do! I’ve been wanting to do that for awhile now, I just had to find the time to do it… but more on that later :). Enjoy the weekend! This post may contains affiliate links, which means that if you click on one of the product links, I’ll receive a portion of the purchase price.
