One type of photography I don’t really blog a lot of is my commercial work – and I am attempting to get better at doing that! This past spring I was asked to go out the San Diego area to photograph Walz Caps, a really cool company that makes cycling and running caps in the USA. I arrived the first night to find out that the owner of the company has the license plate “OLD DOGS”. I knew I would like this group right away 😉
We spent 2 days photographing the hats all over Southern California – on all kinds of different types of people. It was my time to geek out because there were an incredible number of lighting and shooting situations that challenged me in a really fun way. I had just come out of shooting quite a bit of ice fishing, and this was definitely warmer and greener. It was just what I needed to transition to a new season.
Here are a few of my personal favorites (including the office dog 😉 ) – and make sure to check out their website!
