Otto’s ears are much like wings when he bounces through the tall grass – he is definitely a nine month old Llewellin Setter. My friends Alex and Shawn were awesome enough to bring me down to the Wisconsin River valley near Mazomanie on a sunrise pheasant training expedition with Otto. We were greeted by 3 owls that flew overhead – and then the sky exploded in color. A few of the photos almost look fake because of how orange the sky was.
At one point Otto was insisting that there was a bird, and kept pointing. The look on his face when we found one that had been left by a coyote or fox was hilarious. You can tell he’s somewhat embarrassed, but he he just bounces away.
And thanks for everyone’s patience the past month – I have been crazy busy with sessions (a good thing!) – so my blog has been a bit abandoned. More soon!
