I just published a new resources page for photographers. I’m adding more everyday, but these are some of my favorites : Resources for Photographers.
In addition to helpful programs and blogs, it has links to some of my favorite equipment. I tend to gravitate towards very fast lenses that allow me to shoot without flash. Flash can scare some animals, and I would like to avoid those photos ;). I talk about just that subject in an upcoming article in Lake Superior Magazine. It has some tips and tricks on making shelter animals look their best. Better photos=better adoption rates.
If your shelter is interested in a workshop on better photography, please check out info here: Shelter Sessions. I love to share my knowledge!
