Wind & Water vs Madeline Island Ferry

I seem to catch the Island Queen in the most interesting situations!  There was the bear incident of 2008 and now this!  We had some AMAZING winds on Friday – 50 – 60 mph from the northeast.  That made for some huge waves and tough going for the ferry.  Captain Kim Mager got her through, physician though!

This is the regular dock, which was unsafe to use because of the winds.
