I recently visited the Northern Garden of Life to get some shots for their website. This organization is amazing! They grow food for local food pantries, and their mission is to provide a sustainable selection of healthy foods for people who are interested in making a connection to their food source. They also host a job training program on site to help others learn marketable job skills.
My husband & I get our veggies form this place, and I think I’m going to have to get some “cooking shots” of some of the fun things we’ve made. I made squash satay the other night for dinner with quinoa, and it was fabulous!
If you are interested in getting a box or half box of veggies from this organization, and live in the Chequamegon Bay area, visit their website for more info.
