Photos of Bayfield’s Blessing of the Fleet 2010


Every spring  Bayfield, WI on Lake Superior has the Blessing of the Fleet.  It includes all kinds of craft –  commercial fishing vessels to sailboats, canoes, and row boats.  Here are a few shots from today.  I actually was in town for a wedding this weekend, so I got to get some great photos!  Prints are for sale here:

They do the actual blessing at Memorial Park in Bayfield.

    What a wonderful collection of photographs, Hannah! Well done. I never expect this wonderful event to be so well photographed, so this year was a surprise.

    Hannah…I was unable to attend the Blessing of the Fleet this year so I REALLY enjoyed you sharing your pictures…They were wonderful…
